1. 100% In-Person Admin Verified
The local admin personally inspects every house, tests the WiFi speed, checks water & electricity, and confirms local family ownership.
2. Secure Stripe Escrow
Your deposit and 1st month rent are processed securely via Stripe. The security deposit is held in escrow until checkout to protect both parties.
3. Fair Coordinator Fee
We charge a transparent coordinator fee: 10% on the first month and less after that for renewals. It is lower than Airbnb's 17-20% and covers payment processing and local support.
4. Direct Local Host Payouts
The local administrator hands over the rent directly to the family in cash or via Banrural / BI bank transfer on move-in day.

What Happens If You Stay Past Month 1? (Extensions & Renewals)
You have two flexible options:
• Direct Cash to Family ($0 Fee): Once trust is established after Month 1, you can pay the local family directly in cash (GTQ / USD) or local bank deposit. The platform charges $0 fee for direct cash extensions.
• Continued Stripe Card Concierge (5% Fee): If you prefer to keep paying with an international card to avoid daily ATM withdrawal limits ($250/day) and ATM fees in town, we continue facilitating your monthly rent via Stripe for a discounted 5% card-processing & cash delivery fee.
• Security Deposit: Your deposit remains safely protected in escrow until your final move-out walkthrough.
